About Us

After graduating from a top engineering school in Paris, Thomas Ausart earned a Masters Degree in Finance in London. Following his graduation, Thomas joined a Fortune 500 company and worked as an analyst in the Treasury department. After two years of handling corporate bonds, he moved to Controllership. Thomas now works as a corporate finance manager in the Financial Planning & Analysis Department.

Thomas is currently an Associate Editor at Mergers & Inquisitions and at Wall Street Oasis where he is also a member of the Resume Review Team.

Mike started his financial career as an Investment Banking Analyst in London. He then moved to New York to work as an associate. A promotion to vice president brought Mike back to Europe to focus on transatlantic deals. Since Investment Banking was not something he wanted to do forever (and he would tell you that 8 years seemed like forever), Mike left the industry to focus on mentoring and coaching people who want to break in.

Those experiences allowed Thomas and Mike to screen thousands of resumes and get a deep understanding of what recruiters (and here I really mean recruiters, not HRs) are looking for. During their careers in finance they have also interviewed more than 200 candidates for various positions in Investment Banking and Corporate Finance.
